UI Engineer (React)
We're looking for a talented UI Engineer (React) to join a high-performing engineering team building modern, scalable web applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a frontend-focused engineer who enjoys creating intuitive user experiences while collaborating closely with backend engineers, product teams, and designers to deliver high-quality digital products.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable, scalable UI components using modern frontend technologies and best practices.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and manage asynchronous data flows.
- Implement responsive, mobile-first designs with a strong focus on accessibility and usability.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver polished user experiences.
- Manage application state using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and troubleshoot application issues.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of commercial experience developing applications with React.js.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or shadcn/ui.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles using Flexbox, CSS Grid, and mobile-first development.
- Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, semantic markup, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
- Hands-on experience with state management using Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Context API.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js.
- Exposure to Node.js (Express or NestJS) or Python (FastAPI or Flask) for backend API development.
- Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth2.
- Experience with data visualization libraries such as Chart.js, Recharts, or D3.js.
- Exposure to LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or AI-powered applications.
- Experience working with Azure or AWS cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
