Job Description:

The Visitation Director is responsible for curating and delivering a world-class experience for VIP visitors, including dignitaries, corporate partners, and high-net-worth individuals. The Director will have full ownership of the VIP Lounge and all private excursions, ensuring a seamless, luxurious, and historically enriching journey from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee both the Private Excursions and Guest Relations teams to deliver a consistently superior level of service, striving to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal experts, including historians and curators, to develop and maintain a compelling and cohesive narrative across the entire VIP visitor journey.
  • Drive innovation in the VIP offering by regularly developing and launching new, exclusive programs and curated experiences tailored to diverse high-value audiences.
  • Oversee the VIP reservations and enquiries process to ensure timely, professional, and efficient responses to all guest communications.
  • Streamline all operational aspects of the VIP experience, from booking and logistics to on-site execution, to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Have full budget responsibility for the Visitation and Private Excursions department.
  • Champion a guest-centric culture by establishing and managing a robust system for capturing, analyzing, and acting upon all guest feedback, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Empower the team and personally intervening when necessary to ensure swift, empathetic, and effective service recovery.

Qualifications:


  • 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
  • Proven track record in increasing visitor numbers, enhancing visitor experience, and delivering commercial growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong background in destination management, tourism, visitor attractions, hospitality, entertainment, cultural institutions, or large mixed-use destinations.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing visitor acquisition and engagement strategies.
