We are seeking a dedicated Visual Merchandising Manager to lead the execution and optimization of in-store product displays across B.TECH's retail network. The role is responsible for determining the optimal placement of devices across all product categories, ensuring every product is displayed in the right location to maximize visibility, strengthen brand consistency, and enhance the customer shopping experience. This position ensures all merchandising activities are executed in line with display strategies and guidelines developed by the Marketing team.

Strategic Accountabilities

  • Define device display placement across all product categories, ensuring alignment with Marketing display plans, merchandising guidelines, and brand standards.
  • Establish Visual Merchandising (VM) standards for device positioning, shelf allocation, display zoning, and overall product presentation.
  • Benchmark industry best practices and recommend enhancements to in-store merchandising, display formats, and customer shopping experience.
  • Support the Private Labels & Visual Merchandising Department Manager by providing strategic insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to improve VM effectiveness.

Financial Accountabilities

  • Manage the Visual Merchandising budget, including POSM, display fixtures, and merchandising materials, ensuring efficient and cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Analyze sales performance by category and display zone to optimize merchandising investments and maximize return on VM initiatives.
  • Assess the ROI of VM campaigns, branded zones, and merchandising activations in collaboration with Category Management and Retail teams.
  • Partner with suppliers and vendors to source POSM, fixtures, and display materials while maintaining quality and achieving cost efficiencies.

Operational Accountabilities

  • Lead the execution and rollout of Visual Merchandising plans across all B.TECH branches, ensuring full compliance with brand and category standards.
  • Develop and manage the VM execution calendar, coordinating with Category Heads to support new product launches, promotional campaigns, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Conduct regular store visits and compliance audits, identifying improvement opportunities and driving corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations on store layouts, fixture planning, branch renovations, and merchandising implementation.
  • Monitor VM execution KPIs, compliance rates, and store performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Prepare and present periodic Visual Merchandising performance reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

People Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Visual Merchandising team to ensure high performance and consistent execution across all categories.
  • Set clear objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with departmental goals, conducting regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
  • Build team capabilities by promoting Visual Merchandising best practices, product presentation excellence, and customer-centric merchandising approaches.
  • Delegate responsibilities effectively, ensuring ownership, accountability, and successful execution of branch-level merchandising initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Visual Merchandising or Retail Operations, including leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising standards and retail store layouts.
  • Experience managing merchandising execution across multiple retail locations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel across branches as needed.
