Job Summary
As a Voice Services Operation and Maintenance Engineer, your role involves supporting the day-to-day operation of enterprise and fixed voice platforms through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident follow-up, and service assurance across voice and unified communications environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monitoring and operational follow-up for voice services environments including BroadWorks, Cisco voice platforms, Oracle SBC, unified communications, voice gateways, SIP trunks, Cisco PBX, and Webex Calling.
- Perform fault handling and initial troubleshooting for service alarms, customer-impacting issues, and operational incidents across voice platforms.
- Assist in performance follow-up, service quality observation, and traffic analysis to help maintain service stability.
- Coordinate incident handling, escalation follow-up, and restoration actions with internal teams and concerned support functions.
- Maintain operational records, technical documentation, and service-related updates in line with approved procedures.
- Contribute to service continuity by supporting routine operational checks, planned activities, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in voice services operations, unified communications, or VoIP support.
- Good understanding of SIP-based services, voice platforms, and service assurance principles.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across multi-vendor voice environments in a structured way.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
