Role Description The Year 3 Homeroom Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based at SKILLS British School in Giza. The teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum across core subjects for Year 3 learners. Daily responsibilities include managing the classroom environment, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and maintaining accurate records of achievement and behavior. The role involves communicating regularly with parents and guardians, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives, and participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events. The teacher is expected to support the social and emotional well-being of students, promote positive behavior, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful school culture.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience delivering the British curriculum at primary level.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training to design structured, age-appropriate learning activities and support student skill development.
- Excellent Communication skills for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, plus a recognized teaching credential).
