The ideal candidate will be experienced in building and maintaining backend systems using PHP and the Laravel Framework, handling data-driven logic, and leveraging AI tools to enhance development efficiency and code quality. Experience with Node.js and NestJS is considered a strong plus.

Description

Develop and maintain backend services and APIs
Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models
Build scalable and maintainable backend applications and services
Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
Build integrations with internal and external systems and third-party services
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Follow best practices for clean, maintainable, testable, and reliable code
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams
Utilize AI tools to support development, debugging, code reviews, and productivity

Requirements

3–4 years of professional experience in backend software development
Strong proficiency in *PHP and the Laravel Framework**
Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs using Laravel
Good understanding of software design principles, backend architecture, and scalable application development
Strong knowledge of relational databases, database design, and data modeling
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, etc.)
Experience working with large datasets and optimizing complex database queries is a plus
Experience with caching technologies (Redis), queues, and background job processing is a plus
Experience with *Node.js and the NestJS Framework** is a strong plus
Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms is a plus
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
