Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++ or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

15 years of experience as a software engineer and architect.
Experience with ML infrastructure, frameworks, algorithms and tools.
Experience in distributed storage and file system.

Responsibilities

Act as the overall Technical Lead for FUSE (GCSFuse) and the site lead for the storage AI/ML Solutions organisation in Hyderabad.
Partner with engineering management and local teams to architect, execute, and scale the core storage charter across GCSFuse, FusionFS, client-side data paths, benchmarks, and performance optimization.
Drive the technical roadmap and innovation strategy for client-side AI/ML storage, directly expanding the team's scope, capabilities, and business impact.
Advocate the design, execution, and tuning of planet-scale benchmarks to cement GCP Storage as the undisputed industry leader for AI/ML workloads.
