Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient General Technician (Painter) to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our maintenance and renovation crew, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various surfaces in residential and commercial properties.

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
Mix and match paint colors to meet project specifications
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
Perform basic carpentry and drywall repairs as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment
Collaborate with other technicians and team members on larger projects
Estimate time and materials needed for each job
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Qualifications

2-3 years of professional painting experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in various painting techniques, including brush, roller, and spray painting
Strong color mixing and matching skills
Experience with surface preparation and basic carpentry/drywall repair
Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of protective equipment
Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical stamina to stand, climb, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites
Vocational training in painting is preferred
Basic understanding of construction and renovation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication skills in English
