Job Summary

The HVAC & Refrigeration Technician / AC Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operation of facilities. The role requires hands-on technical expertise and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, split ACs, package units, chillers, FCUs, AHUs, and refrigeration units.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of AC and refrigeration equipment.
Diagnose system faults, leaks, electrical issues, and mechanical failures.
Carry out gas charging, vacuuming, and pressure testing.
Ensure proper functioning of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and controls.
Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company SOPs and local regulations.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, Mechanical, or relevant trade.
Technical certification in HVAC/Refrigeration is an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2–5 years of experience as HVAC / Refrigeration / AC Technician.
Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or facility management projects preferred.
GCC experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
Knowledge of refrigerants, tools, and safety practices.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
