Summary:

As a Full Stack FIS/Sungard Omni Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and engineering the end-to-end features of Omni system. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design user experiences, writing backend code, and utilizing innovative technologies to enhance client services. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the solutions you deliver are aligned with a cloud-first and agile approach, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the projects you work on.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement new features.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in FIS/Sungard Omniplus platform, Microfocus Cobol, Unix/Linux scripting.
Must To Have Domain Skills: Retirement Plans (401k, 403b, IRA), Retirement Planning & Services.
Strong understanding of Omni Transaction processing and Omni end-to-end processes.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
Experience with file and database management and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with cloud technologies and agile development practices.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microfocus Cobol.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
