Job Summary

The Product Specialist is responsible for promoting and driving the sales of assigned products by engaging with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key stakeholders. This role involves developing a deep understanding of the product, conducting market analysis, educating customers, and ensuring sales targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:
Promote and sell assigned products to healthcare professionals (HCPs), including doctors, pharmacists, and key decision-makers.
Achieve and exceed sales targets by effectively communicating the product's benefits and features.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to enhance product visibility and sales performance.
Conduct regular visits to assigned territories, ensuring optimal coverage of HCPs and key accounts.
Product Knowledge & Training:
Stay updated on product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
Provide product training and educational support to HCPs, sales teams, and distribution partners.
Address customer inquiries and concerns with in-depth product knowledge.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop strategies that enhance market penetration.
Provide feedback to the management team regarding customer preferences, competitor positioning, and potential growth areas.
Promotional Activities & Events:
Participate in medical conferences, product launches, and promotional events.
Organize and conduct educational workshops, CME sessions, and scientific meetings for HCPs.
Coordinate with marketing teams to execute product campaigns and promotional activities.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all activities comply with company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales performance, and market insights.
Submit regular reports on sales progress, territory coverage, and customer feedback.

Key Requirements

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or a similar role (preferred).
Prior experience in the healthcare industry with exposure to product promotion.

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic sales approaches.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Work Conditions

Field-based role requiring frequent visits to healthcare institutions and customers.
May require occasional travel for conferences and training sessions.
