About the Job

An opportunity has risen at Kai Beach for Commis 2. In this role, you will support the kitchen brigade in basic food preparation and general kitchen duties under the supervision of senior chefs. This role assists in maintaining cleanliness, preparing ingredients, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced beach club environment.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist in basic preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
Support mise en place under the guidance of Commis I and senior chefs.
Follow instructions accurately for simple cooking and preparation tasks.
Support the team during service by replenishing basic items and supplies.
Help ensure smooth workflow across the assigned section.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
Help with organizing ingredients and following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
Report shortages or issues to senior team members.
Work under the supervision of Commis I, Demi Chef de Partie, and senior chefs.
