Work you'll do

The primary responsibility will be managing and overseeing a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients, ensuring the delivery of quality and timely services
Build, develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries and concerns.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
Review work performed by junior team members to ensure quality and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored accounting solutions.
Monitor and manage client budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial goals.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance service delivery.
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice to clients.
Prepare and present financial reports to clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
Ensure timely invoicing in respect of services performed and manage collections.
Lead/participate in system improvements, change projects and business development opportunities

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (CA Singapore or equivalent professional qualification preferred).
At least 7 years of progressive experience in accounting.
Good technical skills in accounting including knowledge in consolidation/group reporting and Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards (US GAAP knowledge will be an added advantage).
Responsive to client queries and able to work independently.
Self-starter, organized, attention to detail, deadline oriented, hands-on.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
Experience in leading a team of junior professionals in a fast-paced team environment on several projects.
Experience with ERP system such as SAP, MS Navision, Xero or any other similar accounting system.
MS Office is a must, including extensive Excel knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Mandarin language skills will be an added advantage).
