What You'll Do

Listen to audio recordings and transcribe speech into accurate, well-formatted text
Handle a variety of speakers, accents, speech speeds, and audio quality levels
Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and grammar rules throughout each transcript
Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes where required
Meet quality standards and turnaround targets for each assignment
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

Strong active listening skills with a keen ear for detail
Good typing speed and accuracy — you can keep up with spoken audio
Patient and focused when working through challenging audio conditions
Able to follow detailed transcription guidelines with consistency
Comfortable using online tools and transcription software
No prior professional transcription experience required

Nice to Have

Experience with transcription tools or audio editing platforms
Familiarity with different English accents or multilingual audio
Background in journalism, captioning, court reporting, or administrative work
