As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The lead ensures that development standards are maintained, focusing on code quality, scalability, and performance to meet the evolving needs of the business. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous evaluation of technical approaches are integral parts of the daily routine, fostering innovation and alignment with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance development processes and team productivity.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of software components.
Monitor project progress and proactively address any technical challenges or risks.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
Strong expertise in designing scalable and maintainable software architectures within the ServiceNow platform.
Experience in leading development teams and enforcing coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Familiarity with integration techniques and best practices for connecting ServiceNow HRSD with other enterprise systems.
Skilled in performance optimization and ensuring software solutions meet business performance requirements.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Human Resource Service Delivery (HRSD).
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
