Work you'll do

The successful candidate will provide GST advisory and compliance services to our clients and work in a growing team dealing with a challenging area of tax, as well as managing issues ranging from routine compliance matters to complex cross-border transactions. This role will include managing client engagements, with direct reporting to Partners and provide tailored technical advice to clients on transactions, performing ASK / ACAP reviews, mentoring and developing junior staff, building internal and external relationships.

Provide Indirect Tax advisory and compliance services to clients, ensuring effective navigation of GST-related matters.
Work within a growing team, tackling the challenges of the dynamic indirect tax landscape.
Manage a diverse range of issues, from routine compliance tasks to complex cross-border transactions.
Perform other tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success and development of the team.

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years of Indirect Tax experience preferably with an international accounting firm or a corporate, as part of an in-house tax team.
Previous Financial Services GST experience will be an advantage
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Law or other business-related fields. Accreditation with SCTP would be an added advantage
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mind and meticulous
Ability to work under tight deadlines
