Job Summary

TheSenior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the full spectrum ofaccounting functions, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting,maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting thecompany's financial operations. The role requires strong analytical skills,attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaboratingwith internal departments and external stakeholders.

KeyResponsibilities

FinancialAccounting & Reporting

Handle full sets of accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.

AccountsPayable & Receivable

Process supplier invoices and payments accurately and promptly.
Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
Resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.

Budgeting& Financial Analysis

Assist in budget preparation and monitoring.
Analyse financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare management reports and financial schedules.
Support business planning and cost-control initiatives.

Audit& Internal Controls

Coordinate annual audits and provide audit schedules and supporting documents.
Maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures.
Assist in implementing process improvements and accounting system enhancements.

Administrative& Team Support

Supervise and guide junior accounting staff where applicable.
Support finance-related projects and management reporting requirements.
Perform any other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience handling full sets of accounts.
Knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, CPF, and statutory compliance requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Info-Tech, Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, MYOB).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
