The Associate/Creative Director leads the creative function of Havas Play, the Social, Content, and Experiential Events unit of Havas Singapore. You are a social-native thinker who understands how ideas travel across platforms, communities, and culture. Combining strategic insight with creative leadership, you will inspire teams to develop breakthrough campaigns and content ecosystems that drive engagement, conversation, and business impact.

This role is responsible for shaping the agency's creative vision, driving innovative ideas, and ensuring world-class execution across campaigns. You will inspire teams, elevate brand storytelling, and champion creativity that delivers measurable impact.

Responsibilities

Lead and elevate the agency's creative vision, driving innovative, social-first ideas that are culturally relevant, platform-native, audience-centric and aligned with client objectives, brand guidelines and business outcomes.
Lead ideation and concept development for campaigns across social and content.
Establish best practices and creative frameworks that drive excellence across social, content, and digital marketing initiatives.
Own the end-to-end creative development process across social and content campaigns, transforming consumer insights, trends, and cultural moments into impactful storytelling, content, creator collaborations, and integrated brand experiences.
Act as a trusted creative partner to clients and internal teams - guiding brand storytelling and social content strategies
Lead presentations, refining creative output, ensuring quality and consistency, and collaborating closely with strategy, content, and production teams to deliver effective solutions while delivering measurable outcomes.
Contribute significantly to new business pitches, agency growth initiatives, and thought leadership.
Mentor and inspire multidisciplinary creative teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, continuous learning, and creative excellence while maintaining operational efficiency
Review and approve creative concepts, copy, and design before client presentation.
Champion innovation and future-forward thinking, staying ahead of cultural trends, platform developments, emerging social technologies, AI-powered tools, and evolving audience behaviours to continuously enhance creative effectiveness and agency capabilities.
Drive creative excellence across the agency, overseeing workflow, resource allocation, creative governance, and contributing to new business opportunities, agency growth, and thought leadership initiatives.

Qualifications

8–10 years of experience in creative roles within social-first, digital, integrated, or content agencies; copy-based experience would be advantageous
Strong conceptual thinking and storytelling skills across multiple platforms, with a deep understanding of social-first creative principles
Expertise in social-first creative strategies and content production
Strong understanding of platform-native content, audience engagement mechanics, and creator ecosystems
Experience building content strategies that balance brand-building objectives with performance-driven outcomes
Strong presenter with exceptional client-facing, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Creative Vision & Storytelling: Ability to craft compelling narratives across channels
Proven track record in conceptualizing and delivering integrated campaigns across social and digital platforms
Hands-on experience with content tech tools (CMS, DAM, social listening, automation platforms)
Deep familiarity with Social (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), Tech (Adobe Creative Suite, AI content platforms) and Analytics tools (Sprinklr, Brandwatch)
Balances strategic thinking with hands-on creative leadership
Strong creative sensibility with the ability to bridge art and technology
Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect creative solutions to business impact
Inspires teams and clients through vision, passion, and creative excellence.
