Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Inspector - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of construction projects through comprehensive on-site inspections and evaluations. Tower's experience is a requirement.

Conduct thorough on-site inspections of structural elements in building projects throughout Dubai
Verify compliance with local building codes, regulations, and approved plans specific to Dubai and the UAE
Identify structural defects, safety hazards, and non-compliant work with a keen analytical eye
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records using efficient data management systems
Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision
Provide well-reasoned recommendations for corrective actions when necessary
Stay updated on local building codes, international standards, and industry best practices
Participate in project meetings and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
Organize and prioritize multiple inspection tasks to meet project deadlines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and structural integrity

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field out of which 3 years minimum with a Consultant.
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, particularly those specific to Dubai and the UAE
Proficiency in structural inspection techniques and methodologies
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Extensive knowledge of construction materials and methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills for efficient report writing and data management
Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations in Dubai
Familiarity with international structural inspection standards
Adaptability to changing project requirements and construction environments
Valid UAE driver's license for site visits
Physical fitness to navigate construction sites safely
