Role Summary:

The Principal Engineer - Stormwater / Hydrology will lead hydrological and hydraulic modelling and stormwater system design for a portfolio of confidential multidisciplinary infrastructure programmes in the region. The role combines technical leadership, design governance, and team mentoring to ensure highquality, coordinated outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead hydrology and stormwater modelling, analysis, and design for infrastructure scopes (confidential).
Define modelling methodologies, parameters, and QA/QC processes across project phases.
Produce and review reports, calculations, technical notes, and deliverables to RBG standards.
Coordinate with civil, utilities, roads/highways, and digital engineering teams.
Support bid inputs, scope definition, delivery planning, and risk management.
Mentor engineers and technicians; uplift modelling capability across the team.
Engage stakeholders professionally, ensuring alignment to scope, standards, and programme.
Champion safety, sustainability, innovation, and digital delivery in design.

Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Civil / Water Resources / Environmental Engineering (or similar).
Professional registration/chartership (or working towards) is advantageous.
10+ years in hydrology/hydraulics / stormwater design and modelling.
Proven delivery of complex infrastructure scopes in multidisciplinary environments.
Strong technical leadership, quality management, and stakeholder coordination.
