Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Public Relations Officer (PRO) to oversee all government relations and regulatory compliance for our organization across both JAFZA (Free Zone) and Mainland UAE operations. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge of UAE government procedures, immigration, labor regulations, company licensing, and corporate documentation, with the ability to independently manage all PRO-related activities while ensuring full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all government-related transactions for the company across JAFZA and Mainland UAE.
Liaise with JAFZA, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, Dubai Economy & Tourism (DET), Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, and other relevant government authorities.
Process employment visas, entry permits, residence visa renewals, visa cancellations, status changes, Emirates ID applications, medical fitness procedures, and dependent visas.
Handle company formation, trade license issuance, renewals, amendments, establishment cards, immigration files, labor files, and other statutory registrations.
Manage all transactions through JAFZA, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, and other government online portals.
Coordinate gate passes, access cards, vehicle permits, and operational requirements within JAFZA.
Ensure timely renewal of trade licenses, labor files, immigration cards, permits, and other corporate documents.
Maintain accurate records of employee visas, passports, Emirates IDs, licenses, and compliance documentation.
Monitor changes in UAE labor, immigration, and free zone regulations and advise management on compliance requirements.
Coordinate document attestation, notarization, legalization, and certified translations when required.
Support HR with onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, and government approvals.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with government authorities and external service providers.
Prepare compliance reports and monitor renewal schedules to ensure no lapses in statutory requirements.
Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and timely completion of all government-related documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 7–10 years of UAE experience as a PRO, with hands-on experience in both JAFZA and Mainland operations.
Strong knowledge of UAE immigration, labor, licensing, and corporate compliance regulations.
Proven experience managing JAFZA, MOHRE, GDRFA, ICP, and DET processes independently.
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and UAE government online portals.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience supporting companies with both Free Zone and Mainland entities.
Strong working relationships with UAE government departments and regulatory authorities.
Ability to independently manage all PRO functions with minimal supervision.
Experience in handling complex government approvals, corporate documentation, and regulatory compliance.
