About the opportunity

SAP FICO Consultant is a specialized professional responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The candidate plays a crucial role in ensuring that the financial processes of an organization are efficiently managed and aligned with business objectives.

Your key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SAP FICO module implementation and configuration projects.
Research, analyse, design and develop SAP FICO solutions to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Update/Enhance SAP software capabilities and develp & direct testing and validation procedures
Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
Manage General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Oversee Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
Develop and implement effective controlling processes to support business decision-making.
Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.
Provide recommendations for process optimization and automation.
Train end-users on SAP FICO functionalities and best practices.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP FICO-related issues.
Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems.
Develop specifications and performance requirements for SAP FICO.
Ensure that hardware systems are optimized to support SAP FICO functionalities and performance.

Skills and qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant.
Proven experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
In-depth knowledge of SAP FICO module functionalities and configuration.
Proficiency in SAP implementation methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules.
Understanding of hardware systems and their integration with SAP software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
Ability to analyze business processes and provide effective solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions for end-users.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
