Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to design and govern an enterprise-scale Data Platform using Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric.

The role will focus on defining scalable data architecture, reviewing technical solutions, guiding data engineering teams and implementation partners, and ensuring the platform meets business, performance, security, and data quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and govern Enterprise Data Platform / Lakehouse architecture across Databricks, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric.
Define data models, schemas, data pipelines, integration patterns, and ETL/ELT solutions.
Design and review Databricks and PySpark solutions for batch and streaming data processing, including Delta Lake.
Provide strong technical guidance on SQL, data modeling, performance optimization, and data transformation.
Design Azure/Fabric data solutions with focus on scalability, performance, security, availability, and cost optimization.
Review and challenge solution designs delivered by data engineering teams and implementation partners.
Establish and govern data quality, metadata, lineage, cataloguing, security, and data governance standards.

Experience & Qualifications

10–15+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Platform roles.
Strong experience designing Databricks-based Lakehouse/Data Platform solutions.
Proven hands-on/architecture experience with PySpark and SQL.
Strong experience with Azure data technologies.
Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
