DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Checking the installation & Commissioning of the New installed LV ABB Drives (ACS880, ACS580,ACS800,(ACS800, ACS550, ACSM1, DCS500, ACS350, (ACS1000, ACS2000, ACS5000,ACS6000, ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580MV, ACS800, ACS550, ACSM1, DCS500, ACS350…etc.),for the ongoing industrial projects area and reporting the com- missioning Works to the Customer, ABB installed base and service manager.

2. Servicing the Faulty ABB medium Voltage and Low Drives
(ACS1000, ACS2000, ACS5000, ACS6000, ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580 MV, ACS800,ACS800, ACS550, ACSM1, DCS500, ACS350…etc.), Ordering&replacingthe faulty parts (boards , IGBTS ,Thyristors….etc.)andreporting the warranty Cases to the manufacturer.

3. performing the preventive maintenance ofDifferenttypes ofABB Drives (ACS1000, ACS2000, ACS6000, ACS500, ACS880, ACS800, ACS550 …etc.) and MV Drives

4. Sizing, SelectingtheLV & MV ABBdrivesaswellastheiroptions ( S/W ) based on Customer'smachineandinstallationrequirements &Configuring them based on Customer application and Control scheme Using ABB software (Drive window , Drivewindow light , Drive studio Drive Size).

5. Reporting the customer satisfaction level, claims, recommendationandtechnicalissuesregardingABB drivestotheBUmanagement. Contribute EffectivelyinpromotingtheABB product and boosting thesales of ABB drives .

6. Engineeringthe SystemInterfacefortheDrivesUpgradeandRetrofitting Projects aswellasfor the NewinstalledDrives Project .

7. Ability to Do RootCauseanalysis for Customer Failure

8. Testing , Commissioning and Troubleshootingthe MediumVoltage Variable frequency Drives ,( Experienced , CertifiedonABB Product (Medium Voltage Variable frequency Drives, ACS6000, ACS1000, ACS2000,ACS5000, ACS580 MV,ACS6080).

9. Abilityto Work under pressure and to ability to Travelto and work in Remote sites for long time.

10. Certified as per ABB Motion Upskills on Products (ACS1000,ACS2000,ACS5000, ACS6000, ACS6080, ACS580 MV).

11. Expert in ACS500 PLC Troubleshooting.

12. Employee shall also carry out anytasks that are assigned bymanagement necessary to fulfil the job requirements.

Qualifications for the Role

BCs or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
with 5 to 10 years experience in installation, Testing, Commissioning and Servicing of LV and MV Drives
Fluent in English is required.
