Whizz HR is hiring an experienced Senior MEP Engineer for a building construction company in Ajman.

Job Summary

We are looking for a practical and site-oriented Senior MEP Engineer with strong MEP contracting and building construction experience. The candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising MEP works across residential, commercial, villa, warehouse, and similar building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MEP site activities and execution.

• Coordinate MEP works with civil, architectural, and structural teams.

• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

• Supervise HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and related MEP works.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project teams.

• Monitor site progress, quality, workmanship, and project timelines.

• Identify and resolve technical and site-related MEP issues.

• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover.

• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure timely completion of MEP works.

• Support coordination and resolution of MEP clashes and technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in MEP contracting/building construction.

• Strong hands-on experience in MEP site execution and project coordination.

• Experience in residential, commercial buildings, villas, warehouses, schools, or similar projects is preferred.

• Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, firefighting, drainage, and building MEP systems.

• Strong understanding of MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site execution.

• Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, and site-management skills.

• Infrastructure-only experience

• Consultancy/design-only experience

• Facility Management or maintenance-only experience

Strong MEP contracting and building construction experience is mandatory.
