Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Development Engineer to identify new business opportunities, develop strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, and drive growth across target markets. The role combines technical knowledge with business development and sales skills to provide customers with suitable insulation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across target markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, distributors, and key clients.
Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers and internal teams.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
Support tender submissions, technical proposals, and required documentation.
Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to develop solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Manage and report on business development activities, sales pipeline, and opportunities.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities.
Prepare and deliver professional product presentations and demonstrations.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Business Development, Technical Sales, or a similar role.
Experience dealing with contractors, consultants, distributors, or other B2B clients is preferred.
Experience in building materials or related industries is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Results-oriented with strong business acumen.
Good understanding of technical sales and business development processes.
Ability to understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
Knowledge of elastomeric insulation materials and their applications is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and commercial/technical documentation.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and distributors.
Ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
Ability to work effectively with technical and commercial teams.
Willingness to attend client meetings, industry events, and exhibitions.
Ability to work independently while achieving business development targets.
