Position Overview

Idah Tech LLC is a growing staffing and IT consulting firm looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven Business Development Executive (BDE) to help onboard new clients and grow our recruitment and staffing business. This role is focused on new business generation through cold calling, email outreach, professional networking, and marketing campaigns — supporting both our core IT staffing practice and our expanding non-IT staffing vertical (e.g., engineering and other specialized non-IT roles).

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Onboarding

Identify and prospect new client accounts across IT and non-IT sectors through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn/professional networking, and marketing outreach.
Own the full onboarding process for new clients — from first contact to signed MSA/agreement — in coordination with leadership.
Qualify leads by understanding client hiring needs, budgets, timelines, and decision-making process.
Prepare and deliver company pitches, capability decks, and proposals tailored to prospective clients.
Negotiate rates, terms, and contract structures in line with company guidelines.

2. Account Management & Relationship Building

Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, addressing client concerns promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular check-ins with active clients to identify additional staffing needs or expansion opportunities.
Track client satisfaction and escalate delivery issues internally to the recruitment team as needed.

3. Cold Calling, Email & Outreach Campaigns

Execute high-volume cold calling and email outreach campaigns to generate qualified leads.
Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects.
Design and send targeted email sequences and follow-ups to convert cold leads into active clients.
Personalize outreach based on industry vertical, especially for specialized non-IT roles (e.g., skilled trades, construction, engineering disciplines).

4. Recruitment Support & Specialization

Partner closely with the recruitment/delivery team to align sourcing efforts with client requirements.
Develop and maintain deep expertise in at least one specialized non-IT vertical (e.g., engineering) to speak credibly with clients and candidates in that space.
Provide market intelligence — salary benchmarks, talent availability, and hiring trends — for both IT and specialized non-IT roles.
Support job order intake calls with clients to ensure accurate, fillable requirements are passed to recruiters.

5. Reporting & Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, calls, emails, and client interactions
Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasts to leadership (weekly/monthly).
Track key metrics: calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, leads converted, and revenue generated.

Qualifications & Skills

1–3+ years of experience in business development, staffing sales, or B2B sales (staffing/recruitment industry experience preferred).
Proven track record of cold calling, email outreach, and closing new business.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup/growth environment.
Willingness to develop deep subject-matter expertise in at least one non-IT vertical (e.g., engineering, construction, skilled trades).
Prior experience in IT staffing, corp-to-corp placements, or vendor management is a strong plus.

Number of new clients onboarded per month/quarter.
Volume of qualified leads generated through cold calling, email, and networking.
Client retention and satisfaction rate.
Revenue/placements generated from new accounts.
Growth of the specialized non-IT vertical pipeline.
