About Garnish

Garnish is based in New York with an office in Egypt. Restaurants in the US lose 15–30% of every order to delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats, and they don't even own the relationship with their own customers. Garnish is changing that.

We give independent restaurants everything they need to take back their direct business: branded ordering websites and apps, Google Business Profile management, email and SMS marketing, and loyalty programs that bring customers back to order directly. Our restaurants keep more of every order, own their customer data, and build lasting relationships.

We're a small, fast-moving team working with restaurants in the United States, starting in New York City, and we're building the marketing function from the ground up.

About the Role

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own two sides of our growth: bringing new restaurants to Garnish, and helping the restaurants already on Garnish grow their direct sales.

Your top priority will be building our inbound sales engine, using Meta ads to reach restaurant owners and turn them into qualified leads for our sales team. You'll also shape how Garnish looks and sounds in the market, and run the email, SMS, and loyalty campaigns that drive revenue for our restaurant partners.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, loves experimenting, and wants real ownership. You'll work directly with the founders, and your work will have visible impact from week one.

What You'll Do

Build our inbound channel with Meta ads. Plan, launch, and optimize Facebook and Instagram campaigns targeting US restaurant owners. Own the full funnel from audience and creative to landing pages and lead quality, and hand qualified leads to our sales team.
Shape our brand and content strategy. Define how Garnish shows up across our website, social media, case studies, and sales materials. Tell a clear, compelling story that restaurant owners understand and trust.
Run marketing campaigns for our restaurants. Build and manage email and SMS campaigns on behalf of our restaurant partners that drive repeat orders and direct revenue.
Grow loyalty and retention. Design campaigns and promotions that turn one-time customers into regulars, and measure what actually works.
Drive more revenue through our products. Get the most out of our ordering websites, apps, and marketing tools, and help us develop new tools and offline tactics (in-store signage, packaging inserts, QR codes, promotions) that move customers from delivery apps to direct ordering.
Measure everything. Track performance, report results clearly to the team, and double down on what works.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing with a strong focus on Meta ads and digital campaigns (agency or startup experience is a big plus)
Hands-on experience running Meta ads, with a track record of generating leads or sales
Experience with email and SMS marketing campaigns
Strong writing skills in English. You can write ad copy, emails, and social posts that US audiences respond to
Comfortable with data: you know your CPL, CAC, and conversion rates, and you use them to make decisions
You use AI tools in your daily work to move faster and create more
A natural storyteller, you can take a product like ours and turn it into a story restaurant owners instantly get and care about, whether it's a 15-second ad, a case study, or a landing page.
Based in Egypt and comfortable working in a hybrid setup, with 1–2 days per week in our Maadi coworking space

Bonus points:

Experience in restaurant, food, hospitality, or local business marketing
Experience marketing to small business owners (B2B)
Basic design skills (Canva, Figma) or video editing for ad creative
Familiarity with Google Ads or Google Business Profile
