About the Role

We are a GFRP (Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer) rebar manufacturer seeking a driven and well-connected Sales Manager to build and own our commercial footprint in the UAE. GFRP rebar is a high-performance, corrosion-resistant alternative to steel reinforcement, increasingly specified in coastal infrastructure, desalination plants, marine structures, metro systems, and precast concrete applications across the Gulf.

This is a market-entry role with a clear mandate: secure off-take agreements with contractors, precast manufacturers, building material distributors, and infrastructure developers who are buying or specifying rebar in the UAE. You will be the primary commercial presence on the ground, responsible for converting qualified pipeline into signed supply contracts.

What You Will Do

Own the off-take pipeline. Identify, approach, and negotiate supply agreements with target buyers — contractors, precast manufacturers, composite producers, and building material companies — who are active consumers of rebar in the UAE market.
Build and manage relationships. Develop and maintain relationships with procurement managers, project engineers, and C-suite contacts at target companies. Represent the product at client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
Drive specification. Work with consultants, structural engineers, and municipal bodies to get GFRP rebar specified on relevant projects. Navigate Dubai Municipality and Abu Dhabi QCC approval processes alongside the technical team.
Manage the sales cycle end to end. From initial outreach through product presentations, sample delivery, technical Q&A, pricing negotiation, and contract close. Maintain a structured CRM pipeline with regular reporting to the Business Development Lead.
Gather and relay market intelligence. Monitor competitor activity, pricing shifts, and new project opportunities. Feed insights back to inform product positioning, pricing strategy, and future geography expansion across the Gulf.
Support certification and approvals. Coordinate with internal teams on ASTM D7957/D7957M certification, municipal product approvals, and any customer-specific technical documentation required to close deals.

What We Are Looking For

Essential:

5+ years of B2B sales experience in construction materials, building products, composites, or related industrial sectors in the UAE or broader GCC.
Proven track record of closing supply or off-take agreements.
Established network among contractors, precast manufacturers, or building material distributors in the UAE.
Experience navigating technical sales cycles involving engineers, consultants, and procurement decision-makers simultaneously.
Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
Based in the UAE. Valid UAE driving licence.

Advantageous:

Prior experience selling or specifying FRP, composite, or non-metallic construction materials.
Familiarity with ASTM, Dubai Municipality, or Abu Dhabi QCC approval processes.
Existing relationships with infrastructure contractors active in marine, desalination, metro, or coastal projects.
Experience working with import or export supply chains in the Gulf region.

What We Offer

Base salary: AED 10,000 – 12,000 per month plus performance-based commission (1-3%) tied to off-take agreement value.
Direct access to senior leadership and fast decision-making — no corporate layers between you and the strategy.
Opportunity to shape the commercial model for a market-entry business and grow with it as the team expands across the UAE and the wider Gulf.
