Job Summary:
Gulf Casting Agency is seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D Designer to join our Events and Exhibitions team. The role focuses on developing high-quality visual designs for live events, exhibitions, brand activations, and experiential marketing projects. The ideal candidate can translate concepts into compelling visuals that align with brand guidelines, spatial requirements, and production constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 2D design assets for events and exhibitions, including branding, signage, panels, backdrops, stage graphics, wayfinding, and print collateral
- Develop creative concepts, mockup designs, mood boards, and visual directions based on client briefs
- Adapt designs across multiple formats and sizes for print and digital use
- Collaborate closely with 3D designers, project managers, production teams, and vendors
- Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork and production files
- Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and event themes
- Incorporate client feedback and revise designs within project timelines
- Stay up to date with design trends, materials, and event branding innovations
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- 2–5 years of experience as a 2D Designer, preferably in events, exhibitions, or experiential agencies
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong background in trendy Ai creative tool, like: Nano banana, Seedream, kling and veo.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and branding
- Experience designing for large-format print and physical environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with exhibition layouts and spatial graphics
- understanding of print production methods and materials
- Familiarity with collaborating alongside 3D design teams
- Motion or digital design experience is a plus
