Open vacancy for 2nd Officer / DPO on DP3 Accommodation / Construction barge in Qatar.
Rotation: 6 weeks on / 6 weeks off
Date of joining: mid of January
Requirements:
- minimum 2 years in rank on Accommodation, Construction, W2W, MPSV DP2 / DP3 vessels;
- experience with Uptime telescopic gangway;
- holding Full DP ticket.
Operational Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensuring all navigational charts and publications are corrected and up. Order replacements in conjunction with Chief Officer when required.
- Navigational officer.
- Maintenance of firefighting and lifesaving appliances as directed by the Chief Officer if required.
- General bridge and deck routines.
- Watch keeper on conventional watches.
- In port vessel assist SSO with vessel security arrangements.
- Acts as member of the emergency team as dictated by the Muster List.
