3D Modeling & 3D Printer OperatorAnabolic Mechanics is looking for a skilled and motivated 3D Modeling & 3D Printer Operator to join our team. This is an on-site position for someone who enjoys working hands-on with 3D design, prototyping, and additive manufacturing.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking an idea from a digital 3D model through preparation, printing, testing, and refinement of the final physical part.
Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models for prototyping and production
- Prepare 3D models for printing, including slicing and print setup
- Operate and monitor 3D printers
- Perform printer calibration, setup, cleaning, and basic maintenance
- Troubleshoot failed prints and improve print quality
- Perform basic post-processing and finishing of printed components
- Assist with rapid prototyping and product development
Requirements
- Experience with 3D modeling / CAD software
- Experience operating 3D printers
- Understanding of slicing software
- Good understanding of 3D printing materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and printing-related issues
- Comfortable working with tools, machines, and physical prototypes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple print jobs
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender, Rhino, or similar
- Experience with FDM/FFF 3D printing
- Knowledge of product design, mechanical components, or engineering drawings
- Experience with prototyping, assembly, or small-scale manufacturing
- Portfolio or examples of previous 3D modeling and printing work
