Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced 4D/5D Specialist to join our Dubai office. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in Planning, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, or Construction Management, with extensive experience in developing 4D construction sequencing and 5D cost simulations using BIM technologies.

The candidate will collaborate with Planning, Contracts, and BIM teams to integrate project schedules and cost information into BIM models, enabling advanced construction simulations, project visualization, progress monitoring, and digital project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage 4D construction sequencing simulations by integrating BIM models with project schedules.
• Create and maintain 5D cost simulations by linking BIM models with quantity and cost data.
• Collaborate closely with Planning, Contracts, Quantity Surveying, and BIM teams to ensure accurate project planning and digital delivery.
• Customize BIM models to support construction phasing, logistics planning, project visualization, and stakeholder presentations.
• Integrate scheduling data from Primavera P6 and MS Project into BIM workflows.
• Prepare high-quality construction simulation videos and project visualizations for internal and client presentations.
• Perform quantity verification and support cost analysis using BIM-enabled workflows.
• Monitor project progress through digital simulation and recommend schedule optimization strategies.
• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, client requirements, and international construction practices.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve project delivery and simulation quality.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve planning, sequencing, and constructability challenges.
• Support digital transformation initiatives through advanced BIM workflows and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in 4D/5D BIM, Project Planning, Quantity Surveying, Project Controls, or Construction Management.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycle, and international building standards.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
• Solid knowledge of construction scheduling, cost planning, and BIM coordination.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project schedules, BOQs, and BIM models.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary project environment.

Software Proficiency

The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with:

• Autodesk Navisworks
• Synchro 4D Pro
• CostX
• Primavera P6
• Microsoft Project
• Microsoft Excel – Advanced
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop

Experience with Autodesk BIM workflows and Common Data Environments (CDE) will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in BIM-based project controls and digital construction.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 BIM standards.
• Knowledge of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and digital project delivery workflows.
• Experience working on international AEC projects, particularly in the Middle East, is preferred.
