We're looking for an AC Technician who will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and related HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and landscape-associated facilities. Daily tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing routine and preventive maintenance, replacing faulty components, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role also involves coordinating with supervisors, maintaining accurate service records, and adhering to company and regulatory standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, requiring regular presence at project locations and company facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including split units, package units, and other cooling equipment.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections of AC systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot AC faults and perform necessary repairs.
- Check refrigerant levels, clean filters, and ensure proper system performance.
- Replace defective parts and components when required.
- Test AC systems after repair and ensure they are operating correctly.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts required for maintenance activities.
- Record maintenance activities, faults, and completed repairs.
- Coordinate with supervisors regarding maintenance schedules and site requirements.
- Follow safety procedures and comply with company HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping during and after work.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an AC or HVAC Technician in construction, facilities management, or agricultural/landscape environments is an advantage.
- Technical diploma or vocational training in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an AC Technician.
- Good knowledge of AC installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical AC issues.
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements is an advantage.
