Job Description

Batterjee Medical College is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Academic Coordinator to support the Academic Affairs Office. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth academic operations, accurate documentation, and effective coordination between faculty, students, and administrative units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate academic schedules, classroom allocations, and communication with academic programs.

  • Maintain accurate academic records, documentation, and confidential files.

  • Support student processes, including the Student Excuses Committee documentation and communication.

  • Coordinate onboarding and timekeeping for part-time faculty.

  • Assist with exam operations: seating plans, iPad/lab allocation, online/paper exams, and electronic marking.

  • Support NCAAA accreditation activities, data collection, and evidence preparation.

  • Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on assigned action items.

  • Provide professional administrative support to Academic Affairs and collaborate with internal departments.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Health Administration, or related field.

  • 13 years of experience in academic or administrative roles (preferably in higher education).

  • Strong English & Arabic communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems.

  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
