Position Purpose
The Accommodation Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of staff accommodation facilities. This role plays a key part in providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming living environment for employees by following housekeeping standards, hygiene procedures, and Leylaty Group policies. The position supports daily accommodation operations, including room preparation for move-in and move-out, inspections, and reporting of maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in staff accommodation areas, including rooms, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct regular room and area inspections and promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Accommodation Supervisor.
- Prepare rooms for new arrivals by changing linens, setting up amenities, and completing condition checks.
- Support check-in and check-out processes by ensuring rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready on time.
- Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning tools, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the Supervisor.
- Follow assigned housekeeping schedules and daily task plans.
- Comply with Leylaty Group accommodation policies, safety rules, and security procedures.
- Provide courteous, professional, and respectful service to all residents while maintaining confidentiality.
- Attend and participate in training sessions related to safety, hygiene, and service standards.
- Assist during emergencies such as fire drills, evacuations, or urgent maintenance situations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Accommodation Coordinator or Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Job Nature
- Work Environment: Primarily indoors (90%), with limited outdoor duties (10%)
- Working Days: 6 days per week
