Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Account Director – Sales (Government) to lead our growth across key government entities in Saudi Arabia.

The Account Director – Sales (Government) is a critical leadership role within NextEra, responsible for driving revenue growth, managing strategic relationships with government entities, and expanding business across ministries, authorities, and regulatory bodies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

This role focuses on executing sales strategies aligned with government priorities and ensuring strong positioning in government-led digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Drive revenue growth within Government accounts, focusing on renewal of existing contracts and acquisition of new projects.
  • Expand NextEra's presence across ministries, government authorities, and regulatory organizations.
  • Identify and close high-value government deals aligned with national programs.
  • Build and manage a strong government sales pipeline, ensuring target achievement.
  • Lead structured sales operations including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and annual planning.

P&L Responsibility

  • Own and manage P&L for Government vertical, ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
  • Drive commercial performance including pricing, deal structuring, and profitability management.

Market & GTM Strategy

  • Define and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for Government vertical.
  • Identify and target key stakeholders across:
  • Ministries
  • Government authorities
  • Regulatory bodies
  • Lead participation in government tenders, RFPs, and procurement processes (Etimad, frameworks).
  • Build strategic partnerships to strengthen positioning within the government ecosystem.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary senior contact for government clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior government officials, CXOs, and decision-makers.
  • Navigate government procurement processes, approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with delivery teams to ensure successful execution of government programs.

Strategy & Planning

  • Define revenue targets in collaboration with C level & Parter Sales.
  • Develop and execute account plans for key government clients.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline, performance, and growth strategy.
  • Drive long-term expansion strategy within the Government vertical.

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum of 8 years in: Sales / Business Development / Account Management in government sector focused on IT Services.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong experience in KSA Government sales.
  • Proven ownership of P&L and large-scale government accounts.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Government procurement processes (Etimad, tenders)
  • Regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Stakeholder management within government entities
  • Strong network within ministries and government authorities in KSA.
  • Ability to manage complex, long-cycle government deals
