Oxygen 8 Recruitment is partnering with a leading international, independent agency to find an Account Director to join their growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

About the agency

Our client is a full-service creative, media and communications agency with a strong regional and international presence, known for collaborative, free-thinking work that gets noticed. As an Account Director, you'll work across disciplines, giving you broad exposure and genuine scope to grow.

The role

As Account Director, you'll take senior ownership of client relationships and account performance, including:

• Owning client relationships at a senior level, providing strategic counsel and presenting with confidence
• Leading, motivating and coaching account teams to strengthen delivery
• Managing accounts profitably and identifying opportunities for growth
• Overseeing day-to-day workflow to ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard
• Collaborating across creative, communications and social teams to deliver joined-up, brilliant work
• Acting as a trusted senior point of contact, spotting and solving problems early

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a senior client services/account management role within a creative, communications or social agency
• A track record of managing teams and senior client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Arabic language capabilities are an advantage
• Commercial awareness with a practical, results-driven approach
• AI-savvy and curious, comfortable using AI platforms to support research and ways of working
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Solid IT skills, including Microsoft Office

Location

Based in Riyadh, with some travel to other regional offices (including Dubai and Abu Dhabi) depending on client and team needs.
