Job Description
Role Description The Document Examiner role is a part-time, remote position focused on reviewing, organizing, and validating a variety of digital documents used across Microsoft Daily Hack content and operations. Day-to-day tasks include examining documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness; checking format and structure against internal standards; and identifying potential risks, gaps, or ambiguities. The role involves preparing and updating document templates, managing version control, and maintaining orderly document repositories in shared systems. The Document Examiner collaborates with content creators and legal or compliance contacts to clarify requirements, track changes, and ensure that documentation is clear, well-structured, and compliant with relevant guidelines. This position requires independent work, regular status updates, and reliable time management within a flexible schedule.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Document Preparation and Legal Document Preparation for creating accurate, well-structured, and compliant materials.
- Candidates should possess skills in Document Review to evaluate documents for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Document Management to organize files, maintain version control, and manage structured repositories.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners, clarify requirements, and provide clear feedback.
- Relevant experience in compliance, legal support, records management, or administrative documentation is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., document editors, cloud storage, collaboration platforms) is preferred.
- An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field (such as business, paralegal studies, information management, or communications) is a plus but not required.
