About The Role

The Account Manager plays a key role in driving growth and retention of Lexis Nexis Legal existing client base across the UAE and wider GCC, with a primary focus on the UAE market. This role is centred on building long-term, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across law firms, corporate legal departments, and government institutions. Your focus will be on maximising customer value, driving adoption of LexisNexis solutions, and identifying expansion opportunities that align with the region's evolving legal landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts across the UAE and wider GCC, with the majority of focus on UAE-based clients.
  • Develop and execute account plans to drive renewals, retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities in line with regional objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, product demonstrations, and business reviews to reinforce value and support increased solution adoption.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure a seamless client experience and address evolving customer needs.
  • Monitor account health, usage, and client feedback to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to support account expansion and strengthen market positioning.
  • Provide accurate pipeline updates, renewal forecasts, and account performance reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus!
  • Proven experience managing accounts within the UAE and wider GCC markets.
  • Strong background in SaaS account management, renewals, and revenue expansion, ideally within legal, compliance, or professional services sectors.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise or mid-market accounts.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding retention, renewal, and account growth targets.
  • Experience working with or for international or multinational organisations is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with modern CRM and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Gong, Sales Navigator, etc.).
  • Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable owning and managing a portfolio of accounts independently.
