Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager – Public Sector to manage and grow relationships with government and semi‑government entities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise sales, particularly within Microsoft Cloud solutions, and a proven ability to navigate complex public sector environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of Public Sector accounts (Government, Semi‑Government, Authorities).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities, upselling and cross‑selling Microsoft Cloud solutions and associated services.
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure.
- Coordinate with pre‑sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and submit bids, RFQs, RFPs, and tenders in line with public sector procurement processes.
- Forecast sales pipelines and report regularly on progress and performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term account retention.
- Stay updated on Microsoft Cloud offerings, licensing models, and industry trends.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within the Public Sector.
- Proven experience selling Microsoft Cloud solutions (Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, Modern Workplace, etc.).
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement, tenders, and compliance requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or a related field is preferred.
