About the Role

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with insurance clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, business retention, and revenue growth. The role acts as the main point of contact between the company and insurance partners while coordinating internally with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of projects, commercial agreements, and operational deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and maintain relationships with insurance accounts and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary contact for client communication, escalations, and business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, and long-term partnerships.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including operations, supply chain, finance, medical, marketing, and customer service to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.
  • Monitor account performance, KPIs, sales trends, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • Prepare account reports, presentations, and business reviews for management and clients.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions.
  • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide strategic insights.
  • Resolve operational and commercial issues proactively and in a timely manner.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

- 3+ years of experience in Pharma Account Management, Key Account Management, or Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations.

- Strong understanding of the insurance industry, healthcare ecosystem, and client management practices.

- Experience managing insurance partners, or healthcare providers is preferred.

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

- Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret business data and KPIs.

- Ability to work in fast-paced and cross-functional environments.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems is a plus.
