Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Accountant role located in Cairo. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial and accounting operations, including preparing financial reports, managing budgets, monitoring transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional responsibilities may include reconciling accounts, processing payroll, handling invoices, and assisting in financial forecasting and audits. This role requires precision, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis
- Skills in preparing financial statements, budgeting, and tax reporting
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus
- Prior experience in a similar role within the construction or energy sector is advantageous
