Ali & Sons Holding LLC is a diversified and well-established group with a strong legacy across multiple industries in the UAE. We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accountant to join our Finance team and support accurate financial reporting, compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake all accounting activities and ensure transactions are recorded promptly and properly.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are completed effectively and efficiently.
- Review financial statements to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation in line with management and audit requirements.
- Regularly review accounting books, ledgers, statements, and systems to ensure up-to-date records and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve long-outstanding reconciling items.
- Follow best practices for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to support a healthy cash flow cycle.
- Provide best-practice recommendations and support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Suggest initiatives to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profitability.
- Support internal and external audits as required.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of work in support of company strategic goals and objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: University Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Fluency in English (mandatory); Arabic is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with accounting systems / ERP solutions (e.g., SAP or similar)
