Role Purpose

The Accountant General Accounting & Treasury is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, and ensuring the integrity of accounting data in line with company policies and standards. The role also supports treasury operations through bank reconciliations, cash flow preparation, and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and record financial transactions accurately in the general ledger within monthly close timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger journal entries with complete and compliant documentation.
  • Ensure proper retention and accuracy of accounting documents according to internal policies.
  • Review and reconcile bank accounts and corporate credit card statements, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Assist departments with accounting-related queries and provide timely issue resolution.
  • Prepare cash flow statements, monitor balances, and resolve outstanding variances.
  • Perform accounting analyses and develop financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all GL accounts are reviewed and reconciled on time.
  • Provide accurate and timely periodic financial reports while ensuring compliance with internal controls and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

Experience:

  • 13 years of hands-on experience in general ledger and treasury accounting.
  • Experience in Oracle Fusion ERP is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of cash flow management and treasury operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Effective communication and collaboration across departments.
