Job Summary
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring accuracy of financial data, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements and accounting records
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant (preferred: 25 years)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
