We're Hiring: Accountant | Abu Dhabi, UAE

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who takes pride in accurate numbers and clean books Join us as an Accountant and play an important role in keeping our financial records reliable, compliant, and up to date.

What you'll do:

• Maintain ledgers and prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries
• Record and process financial transactions accurately and on time, in line with company procedures
• Review accounts payable requests for validity and proper approvals, then process payments and update records
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet accounts, and resolve any discrepancies
• Investigate and correct errors in financial data so that reports can be relied on
• Liaise with vendors and resolve invoice queries and discrepancies
• Audit supporting documents to substantiate transactions
• Back up financial data to keep it secure
• Support the Senior Accountant with compliance and the implementation of financial policies
• Assist with other accounting and procurement-related activities as required

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance (a professional accounting qualification is an advantage)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant
• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles
