Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a strong background in the catering industry. Immediate joiners will be given first preference. The candidate must be locally available in Qatar and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills for daily financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, and general ledger
- Prepare financial reports and analysis using Microsoft Excel
- Handle catering-specific cost control (food cost, labor cost, wastage, overheads)
- Perform inventory accounting and stock reconciliation
- Monitor supplier invoices, payments, and receivables
- Ensure compliance with Qatar VAT and financial regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Coordinate with operations and procurement teams
- Assist with audits and management reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 35 years of accounting experience, mandatory catering industry experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reporting)
- Experience with accounting software/ERP systems
- Knowledge of Qatar VAT and statutory compliance
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must be locally available in Qatar with a transferable visa
- Immediate joiner first preference
