Job Description

Barq Vogue is a new fashion label opening its boutique in Dubai, with an online store alongside it. We're hiring one person to own the numbers (daily books, VAT and the till), cover the shop floor when it's busy, and get online orders packed and out the door.

What you'll do

Accounts

Maintain day-to-day accounts: sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash, bank reconciliation
Prepare and file quarterly UAE VAT returns and keep records FTA-compliant
Process supplier invoices and payments, track receivables
Produce simple monthly reports for the owner: sales, margin, expenses

Cashier & store

Operate the POS and run end-of-day cash and card reconciliation and deposits
Serve customers and cover the floor during peak hours
Support inventory valuation and monthly stock counts

Online orders

Pick, check and pack online orders to our presentation standard
Prepare invoices, delivery notes and shipping labels
Book couriers, hand over parcels, and track deliveries through to the customer
Handle returns and exchanges, and update stock in the system

What we're looking for

2+ years of accounting experience in the UAE, retail or e-commerce preferred
Hands-on with UAE VAT filing and FTA requirements
Comfortable handling cash, serving customers, and doing hands-on order packing
Organised and detail-focused: the right item, the right size, the right address, every time
Fluent spoken and written English
Odoo experience (Accounting / POS / Inventory) is a strong plus; training provided if not
Degree or diploma in accounting, finance or commerce
Currently in the UAE, available to start within 2–4 weeks
Comfortable with a 6-day retail week including weekends
