Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budgeting, and generating regular financial reports for management. The role also involves ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations, supporting audits, and helping improve internal financial processes. The Accountant will collaborate closely with operations and procurement teams to track costs related to tires and spare parts and provide clear financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and account reconciliation.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and basic financial analysis.
• Experience with accounting software and good command of Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements in Egypt.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in automotive, logistics, or a related industry is an advantage.
